Here's our conversation with Aleen:

Hello Aleen, thank you very much for doing this with us! Welcome to Tattoo Design. Could you tell us a little about yourself? What’s your story?

Hi there! My name is Aleen and I'm a 27-year-old tattoo model from Tel Aviv, Israel. I've always been fascinated by tattoos and the artistry behind them, so I decided to start getting inked myself. It's been a great experience and I'm loving every minute of it!

What made you decide to get tattoos?

I don't have a story, but let me tell you this: Once I got my first tattoo, I was addicted to the idea of blackout all of my body, not all, but most of it. I love the way my tattoos make me feel more confident and sexy. I have never felt more alive than when I am covered in ink.

Who inspires you in your tattoo modeling career?

I am especially inspired by those who have self-respect, work hard for what they want, and don't rely on sugar daddies. It's awful when girls try to use their bodies to get ahead instead of working hard and being successful on their own merits.

Besides your career as a tattoo model, you also collaborate with @blast.over to design DOPE shirts. How do you find inspiration for these unique designs?

I find inspiration for my shirt designs in a variety of places. Sometimes I'll see something online or in a magazine and get an idea, or else I might be inspired by a song or quote that I come across. Whatever it is, if I like the concept, I'll try to work it into a design.

You're a model as well as a graphic designer, a multi-talented artist! Aleen - how do you manage your time between working as a model and also designing artwork?

It can be tough to balance modeling and artwork, but I love doing both so it's worth it! I usually try to schedule my photo shoots around my other work, and I always make time for art projects that I'm really interested in. It's also important for me to take some time for myself each day, so I can relax and recharge.

"Do something for yourself for at least 1 hour every day and you'll notice the difference." - That's what I try to do to maintain a healthy balance in my life.

When you are not busy modeling, what are your favorite activities?

I like to listen to music. My favorite band is Sepultura. It's heavy and aggressive, and I love the way it makes me feel. My favorite movie is Requiem for a Dream. It's a beautiful and tragic film about addiction and the lengths people will go to in order to escape their reality. It's an incredibly powerful movie that always leaves me thinking.

Thank you, Aleen!
